Hailing from the greater Chicagoland area, huSEQ (pronounced hue-seek), fka Heavy Weapons is the electronic project of multi-instrumentalist and designer Sean Husick. A musician for close to 30 years, huSEQ is no stranger to synth, song writing & shows. A former member of several punk and hardcore bands including Milemarker, Blankface, Static is a City, Elders, among others––huSEQ is an electronic exploration that does not let go of his analog roots.

Self-described as synthwave meets post-rock, clear focus and perfection is obvious in the guitar-guided electronic soundscapes of huSEQ. Carefully crafted tracks that invite you to other worlds but ground you with familiarity––written, performed, recorded and produced by huSEQ himself.
Basking in the new found freedom the genre(s) afford, huSEQ continues to grow––and to learn. Not satisfied until he understands, creates and fully realizes the sounds in his head, this new creative challenge is eagerly met with huSEQ’s second 5-song EP, CEREMONY.
